Sprint Studio / Founders

Two of us. Same ownership as Clicky.

Sprint is the delivery team behind every web project Clicky Group ships. We're the same ownership as the rest of the group — just dedicated to one thing: shipping production websites and web apps, properly. No managing director between you and us; no fund-appointed CEO. The names on the contract are the names in your channel.

Why Sprint?

Sprint is shaped, sold, and signed off by these two.

Not a layer of partners with a managing director between us and the work — the founders are the ones doing the engagement.

Oli Yeates, co-founder of Sprint

Oli Yeates

co-founder · operating shape

Founded Clicky in 2007 from a kitchen table in the North of England and has run it personally every year since. The operating spine behind every company in Clicky Group — Sprint is the third, and the one he's spent the last year shaping.

He spends his weeks where the work is: engineering reviews, founder calls, hiring loops, the kind of trade-off conversations that don't make it into a board pack. No second-line decision-makers in another city; the call lands with him.

Nathan Smith, co-founder of Sprint

Nathan Smith

co-founder · studio operations

Runs the systems the rest of Clicky Group runs on — analytics, observability, the operating instrumentation every studio plugs into. For Sprint, that's the engineering-ops spine: the eval loops, the pricing model, the cadence the pods actually run on.

The agentic-tooling layer that makes the Sprint unit economics work is his patch. He's the reason a senior engineer here ships at the level they do — the tools they run on, the dashboards they trust, the model routing that doesn't surprise anyone at the end of the month.

The delivery team, made discrete.

Clicky Group has been shipping web work since 2007. Every site, every product, every internal tool the group has built has come out of the same engineering bench — the people who knew the codebases, the deploys, the cadence. Sprint is that bench, named and made discrete.

Same ownership as the rest of the group, same operating spine, same standards. The difference is that Sprint runs as a productised offering — fixed-price scope, weekly cadence, named senior engineers in your channel — instead of being buried in the Clicky Media services list.

What changed: agentic tooling pushed the unit economics of a senior-only studio into a place where it can be the way we sell, not just the way we build. Sprint is what that looks like, productised.

Which means: when you hire Sprint, you're hiring the same engineering team that built clicky.co.uk, amplifyads.co, evergreen-escapes.co.uk and a few dozen client products before them. Same people, same standards, sharper price band.

— From the founding thesis

“The thesis isn't AI replaces engineers. It's AI changes which engineers, and how many, you actually need on a project to ship it well.”
